Lonesome Dove
Opened in 2000, The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro is a Stockyards’ classic and one of Texas’ top dining destinations. Chef Tim Love’s signature menu showcases local ingredients that have been a part of the West’s treasured culinary tradition since the first adventures began on the Goodnight-Loving and Chisholm Trails.

Since the Love Shack’s opening in the Stockyards National Historic District, Chef Love’s gourmet hamburger, the “Dirty Love Burger” has been lauded by critics as a “Burger that is one of the Best in America."

Gemelle
Gemelle, Italian for ‘twin girls’ is named for Chef Love’s daughters, Ella and Anna. The restaurant–housed in a reconstructed bungalow along Fort Worth’s Trinity Trails–features a new application of Love’s signature Urban Western cuisine in the form of Detroit-style pizza, handmade pastas, and vegetable-forward fare.
Many of Gemelle’s dishes are composed with fresh ingredients from the restaurant’s 10,000 square-foot garden. Diners can expect a variety of offerings throughout the day into the evening, ranging from lighter to heartier options. Come enjoy Gemelle’s expansive backyard garden, cabañas, and custom-made bocce ball courts. Daily specials are on rotation, such as Love’s Lasagna, Venison Porchetta, or Pork Osso Bucco with three-bean ragout. Gemelle was named one of the top 10 Best New Restaurants in Texas in 2020 by Texas Monthly.
